How Easy Lyrics
Verse 1
How easy would it be, be the child that I use to be
Before You found me, I was deep within my sins
Life had a hold on me, a hold on me before you freed me (You rescued me)
I was caught up in the night, overdosing in life in life (deceptive life)
Waking up so hungover and over again
Lord You good to me
Chorus 1
No It wouldn’t be so easy for me (wouldn’t be so easy)
No it wouldn’t be so easy for me (wouldn’t be so easy)
Be the child that I use to be
No It wouldn’t be so easy for me (wouldn’t be so easy)
No it wouldn’t be so easy for me (wouldn’t be so easy for me)
Be the child that I use to be
Stepping back into my past not living right no no no
Verse 2
Your love so wide, I’m in the middle of Your sea, sea yeah
You walk on water Lord (do the impossible)
I reach for You, You pull me through, Lord
It’s always You
Son of God hey, hey hey
Lord You good to me
Chorus 2
No It wouldn’t be so easy for me (won’t be so easy)
No it wouldn’t be so easy for me (He’s been too good to me)
Be the child that I use to be (can’t go back to what I use to be)
No It wouldn’t be so easy for me (got keep my hands to the plow)
No it wouldn’t be so easy for me (cause it’s you I’m worthy of)
Be the child that I use to be
Stepping back into my past not living right no no no
Verse 3 (Rap)
Not so easy to step in faith
If I’ma walk on water gotta forget my weight
Yeshua’s calling gotta not hesitate
The World she’s calling too
I’m sinking at this rate
Aye
Stay on my knees, cause I gotta stand for Him
Believers say they for Him, but they compromise on social forums
Acting a fool behind digital walls
Got a cause, honor lost, forsaking Biblical laws hunh
Who we represent, we the salt of the Earth
Acting like our hands are tied when we got the new birth, discarding worth
Genocidal killers
Torturing babies in the womb, little ones with no tombs
Erecting pillars for the lost, bowing down to faux gods
We need to repent, that’s why Messiah was sent
Lord I see what you doing growing the wheat with the tares
I’m never going back to the world I just can’t
Help casting pigs my pearls, help casting pigs my pearls
Verse 4
Can’t go back to where I use to be
You set me free, fulfill a prophecy
You changed my walk, You changed my talk
Made me harder, better, faster, stronger
Sad you see, my past is always after me
But can’t catch me, cause I’m free
But like a surgeon You operated
Changed my old perspective, liberated me
And now I’m free yeah, I am free, I’m free indeed
Never going back, never looking back again
Keep my hands to the plow aye
Never going back, never looking back no more
Cause it’s You I’m worthy of Lord (You I’m worthy of)
You I’m worthy of Lord (You I’m worthy of)
You I’m worthy of Lord (You I’m worthy of) Paid it all for me Jesus, (You I’m worthy of) Jesus
Anointed 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I am so privileged to have gotten to pray with the person that walked through and created this! Jesus, thank you for anointing my brother with the language to share the journey to and beyond the cross! The church often forgets to tell us we are at war, but we can hear in this that in our struggles, we are not alone!
