32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. – Acts 4:32-35
Okay, first and foremost, I am not suggesting that people sell their possessions and come lay them here, so please do not misinterpret. I believe in giving the way that the early church of Jesus Christ taught us. What we see in Acts is how the body should function today: everyone offers what they can to be a blessing. As a son of God, in Whose house are many mansions and treasures, I do not ask that anybody give to this ministry out of sympathy, guilt, or condemnation, but out of cheerfulness only. Do not give if your heart is heavy to do so. It is not my, and definitely not God’s desire to burden you, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light – Matthew 11:30. Give because you believe that you are blessed by what you have received here. Give because you believe you will reap a thirty, sixty, one-hundred-fold reward in this present life and the next, that’s – Matthew 13:8, and Luke 18:30. God loves a cheerful giver. Even if you choose not to give, I say this. This spiritual sustenance will continue to be provided to you as The Spirit leads me to deliver it. I freely received it, so I freely give it, and I rejoice that it is a benefit to your life. My life has been enriched by the truths I share. These truths have been deliverance for me, releasing me from the strongholds that had shackled me. I praise God for you if it does the same for you or those you know and love, and you are moved to give what you have to bless this ministry. I love you, most of all I love God, it’s why I do this, and I gratefully appreciate your cheerful giving and continued completeness in Christ Jesus! Amen!
Don’t let the donation amounts intimidate. Just keeping with the Matthew 13:8 theme. Give what you are led to give. God bless you!
