Day 14 – Deliverance 12.03.2022
Teacher of the day: The Lord’s Artisan (Prince Tebbs)
Psalm 18:1-3 ESV
“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
- Deliverance is : the act of setting free someone or something.
- Deliverance or to be delivered, also means to take and hand over to or leave for another. (As was the master plan of God, God the son was handed over for our deliverance.)
John 19:10-11 ESV
“So Pilate said to him, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?” Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.””
Romans 4:24-25 ESV
“but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.”
- Deliverance is also akin to giving birth or to be birthed (Someone released from a stronghold is able to give birth to a Godly destiny, and When someone has been delivered they experience a new birth)
John 3:5-6 ESV
“Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
Prayer for Shutting Doors
Lord, I ask this good and perfect gift from You my Heavenly Father. Giver of good and perfect gifts, thank You for forgiving me for all the doors I as spouse/non spouse and parent/non parent have ever opened that are now effecting my relationships. Lord I did not know what I was doing, or to be honest chose to rebel and not trust in your Word. God I repent and and thank you for total forgiveness washing over me right now by the merciful blood of Jesus, that was spilled out of Your Holy Son, Father. Lord, I can not shut these doors. I can not shut them on my own, and ask You now, for You are He who opens doors no one can shut and shuts doors no one can open. Shut these gates and everlasting doors that have been opened to (name each door that you know you have willingly opened or ask the Holy Spirit for help to remember, also see Galatians 5:18-21) and every door like these that have been opened to the camps of our enemies, giving Satan legal access to my life, my marriage, my children, my destiny, and allowing legions upon legions of his servants to pour through. Thank you for shutting these gates and doors Jesus, everywhere they exist. Jesus, I now ask that you heal and repurposes these gates and doors to be entry ways of( love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control). By Your power and might open these doors to all of the heavenly, and spiritual treasures myself, my spouse, and our children need for absolute success in our walk with you upon the earth.“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 NKJV. I proclaim: “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah” – Psalms 24:7-10 NKJV – In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Doors to be shut
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries,. Galatians 5:19-21
Doors to be opened
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
